Members Gather for Annual Canning Day on May 20

Fundraising project at the Indiana State Fair

IMSA’s canning day was held at the Harris Sugar Bush, Greencastle, IN on Sat. May 20. About 20 members and friends took part in the day-long event.

The crew packed about 400 gallons of syrup to be sold at the Indiana State Fair.

Our state fair sale is the IMSA’s major fund raising project. Income from syrup sold at the fair covers a significant part of the costs for our annual meeting with its informative speakers and programs.

Members are invited to help staff the sugar shack in Pioneer Village at the fair. See the most recent issue of the Tapline for a schedule and signup information.
