Canning Day a Great Success
Some 30 members and their friends gathered at the Williams and Teague Sugar House near Rockville for the IMSA's annual canning day, held Saturday, June 26, 2004.
Purpose of the event was to can the syrup to be sold at the Indiana Maple Syrup Association’s sugarhouse at the 2004 Indiana State Fair.
About 350 gallons of syrup was processed thanks to the energetic and skillful help of our volunteers.
Sales at the IMSA Sugar Shack in the Indiana State Fair's Pioneer Village provide much of the funding for the Indiana Maple Syrup Association's annual meeting held the first Saturday of December.
